In Matthew 28, Jesus gives us the Great Commission: to go, make disciples, baptize, and teach others to follow Him. This mission is for everyone, regardless of our doubts, fears, or imperfections, and Jesus promises to be with us as we go. But the heart behind our mission must always be love. We don't serve to earn God's love, but because we have already received it. Mission isn't limited to overseas work or special events; it's found in our everyday opportunities to love, serve, and share Jesus with others. Though it comes at a cost, we are all invited to play our part in helping others discover that Jesus sees them, knows them, and loves them.
